What is Focusing-Oriented Therapy? 

There are many strands of psychotherapy integrated into Focusing-Oriented Therapy.  Focusing is a unique way to perceive and process any problem or situation. 

The first of seven steps in Focusing-Oriented Therapy is called "Clearing a Space".  On its own, "Clearing a Space" is a wonderful stress reduction technique.  It helps people get some distance from pressing problems and to  acknowledge others that may be out of awareness even though they're carrying them.  In this "Cleared Space" people often feel less stressed  and  more  relaxed.
